As everyone's favorite orange cat gears up to return to the big screen, Roborock is teaming with The Garfield Movie, exclusively in movie theaters on May 24, for a special campaign promoting their pet-friendly technology. The upcoming animated movie based on Jim Davis' titular comic strip stars Chris Pratt as the titular cat and explores his origin story. Garfield's comfort is suddenly upended when his estranged father arrives and enlists his help with taking down a villainous Persian cat.
Ahead of The Garfield Movie's release, Sony is leaning into the titular orange cat's famous qualities and characteristics to promote the animated movie. Now, this marketing campaign is continuing in perfect thematic fashion with Roborock to celebrate their latest model of automatic vacuum, the S8 Max Series.
Since making his debut in June 1978, Garfield quickly became a household name for a variety of funny and relatable reasons. While his love of Italian food, particularly lasagna, is one of his more memorable, the orange tabby cat's laziness is often the trait most associated with him. Between his detesting of Mondays and overall cynicism and dislike of exercise, he's easily one of the more relatable fictional characters for many who enjoy a laid-back lifestyle.
It's this trait, in particular, that makes Roborock's partnership with The Garfield Movie to be a match made in pet heaven. Of their new S8 Max Series of vacuums, the MaxV Ultra model comes equipped with their "pawsitively perfect" automatic pet recognition, in which the device will immediately stop its main cleaning brush upon approaching an owner's pet and move aside in an effort to avoid scaring them.
Garfield's Monday hatred stands toe-to-toe with his love for lasagna, and in this list, SR dishes out Jim Davis' top Monday-hating comic strips.
In addition to moving around an owner's pet, the S8 MaxV model will boost its vacuum power to clean around their supplies. And for those who like to keep an eye on their pets while they're out of the house or miss their company, the S8 MaxV model comes with an in-app option to search for their pet in the house and use the video call function on the device to see them.
For pet owners like Garfield's Jon, who frequently finds himself contending with the cat's endless appetite and messy eating, Roborock's S8 series of vacuums are perfect for keeping harmony between the two. Rather than completely upend Garfield and Odie's happy and lazy lifestyle in order for Jon to live more comfortably, the technology can allow everyone under one roof to continue living comfortably with one another.
Though Garfield may not be as playful as Jon's fellow pet, the yellow beagle Odie, their antics make his home the perfect fit for a Roborock S8 cleaner. Between his ability to check on the duo when he's out of the house, the vacuum's VibraRise 3.0 Mopping System scrubbing up to 4,000 times per minute, and Carpet Boost+ System and duo-roller brush picking up extra hair and cleaning carpets, Jon can properly ensure the energetic dog and lasagna-loving cat don't entirely ruin his home while still letting them thrive in their pampered lifestyles.
Having first been founded in 2014, Roborock has become one of the world's most-renowned automatic vacuum manufacturers, having steadily released new and more technologically advanced models with suction power a minimum of 7,000 Pa in their most recent models. Their latest addition, the S8 Max Series, looks to be one of their most exciting and innovative yet for consumers for a variety of reasons, including increasing their suction power to upwards of 10,000 Pa in their S8 MaxV Ultra model.
The S8 Max series, which consists of both the MaxV Ultra and Max models, comes equipped with deep corner and edge-cleaning ability, industry-leading suction power and mopping capability, complete self-maintenance, including a cleaning solution dispenser, heated washing, drying and dirt detection. They also offer a lot of user-friendly means for controlling the vacuum, including a new Roborock SmartPlan technology that allows control of the device through an app, or jumpstart its cleaning with a simple "Hello Rocky", even without a Wi-Fi connection.
With all of these advancements in the vacuums' technology, it's clear to see that Roborock's S8 series is one of their best yet, and makes for the perfect promotional pairing with The Garfield Movie. Given plenty of pet owners are sure to flock to the theaters to see the fan-favorite tabby cat back on the screen, many are sure to want to get their hands on the new models in order to allow their pets to live in the same comfortable style as Garfield.
